Graduate Student Council
The SOSGSC offers a competitive travel award for graduate students attending or presenting at a professional conference pertaining to their area of speciality. The application and instructions detailing the requirement and application process may be downloaded by clicking the links to the right. The SOSGSC highly recommends that students applying for a SOSGSC grant also pursue funding through other sources. Applying to other sorces significantly strengthens one's application. There are a few additional links provided to help you meet this requirement.
Travel Funding
SOSGSC Travel Grant:
For travel between July 26, 2012 and January 26, 2013. Due October 26, 2012 at 5pm.
For travel between December 22, 2012 and May 22, 2013. Due February 22, 2013 at 5pm.
For travel between February 26 and July 26, 2013. Due May 31, 2013 at 5pm.
Other Funding Sources:
Fall - Due TBA at 5 p.m.
Spring - Due TBA at 5 p.m.
Graduate Office Travel Fellowship
Limit two candidates per department per competition. Awarded twice yearly, once in November and once in March.
