The Sycamore School is hosting a conference for middle school girls from all over the state in math, science, and technology. Curiosity, Confidence, and Challenge will be held on March 11 th , 2006 . Our March meeting features Dr. Ann Cutler, an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of Indianapolis.  She will be speaking about women and excellence and will be focusing her discussion on two relevant readings:  Women Don't Ask: Negotiation and the Gender Divide by Linda Babcock, and  Sara Laschever  and Smart Girls: A New Psychology of Girls, Women, and Giftedness (Revised Edition) by Barbara A. Kerr.
